இங்கிலாந்தில் பல பகுதிகளில் புதிய கொரோனா வைரஸ் பரவல் கடந்த சில நாட்களுக்கு முன்னர் கண்டறியப்பட்டது. இந்த வைரஸ் பரவல் உலக நாடுகளை பேரதிர்ச்சியில் தள்ளியிருக்கிறது. இந்த அதிர்ச்சியில் இருந்து மீள்வதற்குள் அங்கு மேலும் ஒரு புதிய கொரோனா வைரஸ் தொற்று கண்டறியப்பட்டு உள்ளது. அதாவது தென்ஆப்பிரிக்காவில் இருந்து வந்த 2 பேருக்கு பரிசோதித்ததில் கொரோனாவின் மற்றுமொரு புதிய மாறுபாடு கண்டறியப்பட்டு இருக்கிறது.இதுவும் இங்கிலாந்தில் சமீபத்தில் கண்டறியப்பட்டது போலவே வீரியமாக பரவும் திறன் கொண்டதாக அறியப்படுகிறது. தென்ஆப்பிரிக்காவில் இது மிகப்பெரும் சேதத்தை ஏற்படுத்தி வருவதாக இங்கிலாந்து சுகாதார அமைச்சர் மேத் ஹன்காக் தெரிவித்துள்ளார்.

கடந்த வாரங்களில் தென்ஆப்பிரிக்காவில் இருந்து வந்தவர்களிடம்தான் இரு வைரஸ்களும் கண்டறியப்பட்டு உள்ளன. இந்த புதிய வைரஸ் மேலும் கவலையளிக்கக்கூடியதாக உள்ளது. ஏனெனில் இது மிகவும் வேகமாக பரவுவது மட்டுமின்றி, இங்கிலாந்தில் கண்டறியப்பட்டதை விட மேலும் பிறழ்வு கொண்டதாக தெரிகிறது’ எனவும் கூறினார்.
